Born in 1960, in Wolfach, in the heart of the Black Forest.
Grew up and rooted in the so-called "Dreyeckland", the region of Baden, Alsace, Baselbiet.
Married to the best woman in the world for over 30 years!

At the end of the 60s, my father gave me a "REVUE Junior" 6X6 that he had found on the side of the road.
Since then, I have been "hooked" on photography.
In addition to photography itself, I have always been interested in the history of photography, especially the neorealism of the 40s and 50s.
My technical development.
My father's camera. An EXA from 1960. I took my first pictures with it, and it's still in my cupboard today.
My first camera. A REVUE-JUNIOR (1968) for 6x6 roll film.
The Canon A1. My favorite.
That's what I'm using today. Primarily when I'm wandering around cities.
